The Branch is a nonprofit, non-partisan media company that delivers political and cultural commentary and original reporting through podcasts, articles, and video.
My Role:
As the head of growth and content for The Branch, I led marketing strategy across various digital touchpoints to grow our audience. Primarily, that included developing a paid and organic social strategy, as well as landing key partnerships. I created, curated, fact-checked, and managed social media content, including text, audio, visual, and multimedia formats across The Branch's social media channels. I ran its social media newsroom of contracted content creators to create mission-aligned content for TikTok and Instagram. While in this position, the company underwent a rebrand and I facilitated the implementation of the rebrand (art and copy) across all of our social channels and marketing efforts.
