According to lex (formerly Girl With a Green Closet) is is a personal blog that I started in 2016 as a creative outlet. Over time, it has evolved from a focus on sustainable fashion into a broader space for long-form essays and thought pieces exploring life, culture, consumption, and the systems that shape how we live. Through personal reflection and critical analysis, the work challenges assumptions, questions norms, and invites readers to engage more thoughtfully with the world around them. In 2025, I expanded the platform with the launch of a Substack under the same name.
As the creator behind According to Lex, I publish long-form essays, cultural commentary, and brand analysis exploring fashion, consumption, media, and modern life. The platform extends across written and visual formats, including a Substack and social channels, and serves as a space for critical thinking, personal reflection, and ongoing dialogue.
